LIS.PARCEL_POLY
GIS feature that is part of the foundation data in the Land Information System (LIS) for City of Chandler mission critical and strategic uses of GIS.
Parcel Polygon identified by an APN = Assessor Parcel Number representing a single taxable land tract (parcel); also known as: Parcel ID. APNs are assigned by the County Assessor as the main legal descriptor for a Parcel and have three components: Book, Map, Page. A land tract represented by a polygon depicting the recorded parcel boundary limits; APN also known as Parcel ID represents a single taxable land tract (parcel).
Another name, legal description for a Parcel is the Subdivision + Lot Number + Block or Tract. Block number primarily exist in the older areas where Track and Lot Numbers were repeated in the same Subdivision. The Block is needed to established an unique legal description.
